how to know if you should become a surgeon?

1 doctor answer
Dr. Jalal Zuberi
45 years experience Pediatrics
Wish I could tell U!: It may be easy to know if you SHOULD'NT be considering surgery as your profession. Do you faint at the sight of blood or trauma? Some folks do. Do you get anxious in stress situations with fingers trembling etc. Do you get panic attacks etc? Just kny. Also, surgical training is generally longer and harder to obtain.
