Call your doctor: It can take a few days for antibiotics to start working against endometritis. However, symptoms shouldn't be getting worse at 48 hr. But before you do to an ER, try calling your doctor's office. Even on a weekend or at night, someone probably will be on call. But go straight to ER if high fever, chills, severe pain, heavy bleeding, or if you feel weak or dizzy.
