When to use alcohol: We al know alcohol does things to the brain, How much damage did you sustain? You have some neurons that were injured. They have recovered but was the recovery complete or just enough for you to be awake and move properly. The doc that cleared you is in the best position to advise. If it were my brain, I like to think it is precious and would let it cool down for several weeks at least.

CONCUSSION QUESTION: No science to it but since evidence links alcohol consumption to delayed concussion recovery, my advice to my patients is to not drink alcohol for 4 to 6 weeks following my "clearing" them to resume normal activities.
