Yes: Depo Provera (medroxyprogesterone) offers 3 months of protection from pregnancy. Once you're outside that timeframe, you are just as fertile as you were before starting the depo and should use an alternate form of birth control. If you've had unprotected sex since that timeframe ended, a pregnancy test can answer your question and becomes reliable by 2-3 weeks after the sexual encounter.
