I have taken 9 200mg ibuprofen pills in 1 day and i felt sick later on i am having stomach pains can you tell me what i had and if i had an overdoes?

Take with food: The maximum recommended dose of ibuprofen in 2400mg in a 24 hour period. We routinely prescribe motrin 800 mg three times a day for pain. Unfortunately, ibuprofen (along with other NSAIDS--aspirin and naproxen) can irritate and upset your stomach. It is always a good idea to take NSAIDS with food.
