A member asked:

My ft3 and ft4 numbers are at the very bottom of normals. my tsh has slightly risen. is it normal to feel jittery when low? cortisol tests needed?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

Low T3 (liothyronine) and T4: It sounds as if your TSH is trying to improve your T3 (liothyronine) and T4. If that is so you most likely will need to start taking low doses of T4. Check with your doctor.
