Caution: although you may be able to continue work as an animal caregiver while pregnant, you must exercise caution to avoid potential infections. A particular concern is toxoplasmosis, which can be transmitted via cat dung and lambs, and which causes concerns in unborn fetuses. There are other potential infections which must be safeguarded against. You should speak with your OB/GYN about this. Good luck.
