Maybe. Maybe not.: The control line must be visible at the end time of the test. If the test line (usually a second line) comes and goes, one cannot be certain of a pregnancy. If strange results like that are appearing, one can buy a different brand of test and retest in 3-4 days, while making sure it has been at least 3 weeks since having sex.
