Even if you returned: to your OB/GYN or midwife following delivery, you should go back again. Continuing bleeding for 6 months post-delivery is not normal. It may be a good sign that this has stopped, but this still deserves an evaluation. While infection should not explain the bleeding, assessment for infection is also likely needed. Make an appointment. Good wishes and congratulations!
