My blood report arrived and it says. hcg: less than 5.0 u/l, is it not supposed to say the specific amount like 0 or 1 2 etc. or is it fine as it is?

Limit of detection: Most of the tests have a lower limit of detection and HCG levels below 5 rule out pregnancy. So no purpose would be served by reporting a number below 5. Incidentally a value above 25 is diagnostic of pregnancy. For values between 5 and 25 the test needs to be repeated in 4-5 days.
