Drank 5 beers throughout the day, ate a big meal, then about 2 or 3 hours after i stopped drinking, i took one benadryl(25 mgs) should i be concerned?

Should be fine: Always be careful when mixing alcohol and sedative antihistamines like Benadryl (diphenhydramine). Definitely never plan on operating motor vehicle after drinking. Adding Benadryl (diphenhydramine) to the mix can cause impairment to acutely worsen. That being said you should be fine given time course you describe so not to worry.
