A 'shot" of pain?: Your antibiotic shot is NOT a immediate "cure" for a serious infection such as gonorrhea. It will take some time for the medication to work and it Is very important that you return to the MD to be re-examined and have a follow up GC culture to be certain the infection is gone. There will be some "discomfort and discharge" until that return appointment.
