Plantar pain: This sounds like it may be plantar fasciitis. This pain is worse in morning, and feels like bruising. Avoid excessive weight bearing activities like running or walking for long periods for a bit, try taking anti-inflammatory and stretch the "under" part of your foot by flexing toes and you can roll the foot over a tennis ball for relief too.
