My husband quit taking his citalopram 20mg about 6 weeks ago. all of the angry and bitterness is back. i'm at a loss for words.

Resume med/ be safe!: If you are in any kind of danger, then I would seek help now before doing anything else. If your husband is a risk to himself or you this an emergency and should be dealt with immediately! If it's not that bad, then he (ideally with you) need to get back in touch with his prescriber and probably resume the medicine and maybe therapy too. Why did he stop it to begin with, I wonder? They can help!

Support for you: I'm sorry your husband stopped his med with resulting stress on you and perhaps your family. You need to take good care of yourself, accept what you cannot control and try reaching out for help. Ask a trusted doctor for referral to a mental health professional for support and guidance. Best not to argue with your husband over his decision. Be safe and focus on what's best for you. Hope this helps.
