Muscle spasms.: tight muscles can cause pressure on the nerves in the area. There are several nerves at the base of the skull as well as several muscle attachments that are susceptible. Stress, poor posture, repaired use, or injury can cause the muscles to tighten in there by affecting her's. Try ice or stretching exercises.
