Are you sure?: It is hard to take 25 mg of xanax (alprazolam). Have you been taking 0.25 mg of xanax (alprazolam). It will be out of your system in about 48- 72 hours if stopped as you have said. Was this something prescribed? You may have rebound symptoms if you have stopped it cold. Best wishes.
