? PMS ?: retroverted uterus or not, blow clots in a menstrual flow is not what should happen. If in addition to the clotted blood, you have painful periods, gas and bloating, perhaps headaches and feel dysphoric, you have the typical Signs and Sx of the Pre-menstrual syndrome. The cause, in my view, is an excess of yeast/fungal in the GI/GU tracts. Th treatment is 1-2 week pre menses with Nystatin.
