Prilosec: I am not aware of prilosec causing magnesium or electrolyte deficiencies in the absence of vomiting or diarrhea, but your gastroenterologist or your pharmacist may have more information about this. Nevertheless if your heartburn is not effectively controlled, an evaluation by a gastroenterologist is advisable for both diagnosis and treatment.
