Congratulations!: I am not aware of a reliable way to predict the baby's sex at this stage without looking at chromosomes. There are all manner of gender tests that share the characteristic of being right 50 per cent of the time. Even odds. So if three "tests" all indicated "boy," this could occur by chance 12%.

Wishful thinking: Conception doesn't occur within the first hours after sex.It takes time for sperm to work their way into the Fallopian tubes and trigger conception. That conceptus must produce the proper features to attach in the womb.That takes days. If sperm encounter a fertile egg in the womb, any conception is shed. So no "test " you did after sex would mean anything.An ultrasound in 8-10 wks would.
