A member asked:

Can singulair (montelukast) be replaced with generics like myteka?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

Yes: Myteka is also montelukast, and like Singulair, comes in 4mg packets or chewables, 5 mg chewables, and 10 mg tablets. Generics have approximately the same effects as the name brand... because the rules usually don't require generics to be 100% identical in effects compared to the original brand name product.
