First PE: First step is get a physical exam to be sure that there are no medical problems. Step two is to speak with a psychiatrist so you can discuss underlying psychological issues. It may even be that you are having nightmares or bad dreams that you don't recall that are reflecting psychological issues. Therapy may be helpful. It is possible that an evaluation in a sleep lab might be recommended.
