Yes: Gonorrhea and chlamydia can be confused with a uti. If you think you might have one if these you should seek out evaluation soon.

Gonorrhea vs. UTI: Yes, in some instances they can be mistaken for similar symptoms. But, utis don't usually cause 'discharge' as much.. In men gonorrhea in the penis is very obvious with pain, discharge and increased urinary frequency. In women gonorrhea in the vaginal canal leads to tender discharge. Utis may present with burning and increased urinary frequency but usually do not include discharge.
