It's possible.: Although some patients with hypothyroidism have nasal congestion, one should check for allergies to respiratory particles (like pollen or dust) before deciding that nasal congestion or rhinitis symptoms are merely due to hypothyroidism. On the other hand, if the nasal symptoms pretty much go away after the TSH returns to normal, that would suggest hypothyroidism as the cause or one of the causes.
