A member asked:

What causes tingling in the middle back and sensitivity to touch? it's not painful but noticeable and uncomfortable.

A doctor has provided 1 answer

Nerve: An irritable, pinched or mildly inflamed nerve or muscle in the spinal area may do this. A bulging disc usually causes more of a significant ache without associated tenderness to touch. A neurologist is best qualified to evaluate this symptom if the tingling is the major symptom.
