Baked beans: 1/4 to 1/2 cup. They are sweet and well tolerated. Give another 1/2 cup the next day.

See below: Increase fiber in diet: Whole grain bread, Bran cereals mixed with his/her favorite cereal. More Fruits and Veggies. Dried fruit: rasins. Drink adequate liquids at least four 8 ounce glasses/day. Limit sweets. See physician if constipation persists, and if having pain on moving bowels.
