For those of us who aren't campers or outdoors people, what's the best or safest way to poop or pee outdoors in a disaster situation?

Like camping : In a disaster, one needs to improvise. If you were camping, you would use something to dig a small trench, evacuate into it, and cover it with dirt. Do it away from your water source and not near where you are having to live or eat. Use whatever is available for hygiene, and be sure to try to wash your hands thoroughly, downstream from where you will be, if that is your water source also.
