Yes and no: Yes,you only need one to be fertile. However, there is a possibility that the other testis is hiding inside the abdomen where it can cause cause fertility problems or increase his risk of testis cancer in his lifetime. Find a doc that can locate the other testis (ultrasound) and bring it down into normal position or remove it.
