Yes: Technically you are not supposed to have sex while on that med but it does not mean it is not working and you had a condom so you are fine. They also say don't have sex because the birth control pill is not as effective and could get pregnant.

Depends: Has he also been treated ? It takes a while for the med to kill off the germ and condoms are not a 100% guarantee it won't pass back and forth. You need to both be treated at the same time and hope that cures it before it impairs your fertility.
