Sinusitis: For acute viral sinusitis you should use Aleve for pain/fever liquigels work well. Use a saline nasal spray to clear your nasal passages. If you are feeling truly congested you can take an over the counter decongestant also but try the saline nasal spray first. Steroid nasal sprays are by prescription and can help also. Neither decongestants nor nasal sprays should be taken for an extended period
