A member asked:

This is the first time i took plan b. is it safe to smoke cigarettes still? i'm 19, not on regular birth control and i don't regularly take medication

A doctor has provided 1 answer

No. Don't do it.: It is not safe to smoke cigarettes, or to smoke anything else other than brisket, ribs, or chicken. Smoking cigarettes means inhaling the toxic stuff of burnt organic material and its added chemicals, whatever they might be. It is even more dangerous if a woman smokes and takes estrogen (Plan B in the U.S. does not contain estrogen, but has levonorgestrel which is a progestin).
