I have been sick since nov. 23. half way through my second round of antibiotics and no better. in addition to a sore throat i now have a very tender lump on the side/middle of throat. how long to wait to see doctor again?

See ENT: I recommend that you consult an ENT. What you have is not a common throat infection and thus an ENT consult is warranted.

See answer: Not enough information to give specific advice, but It's likely that the antibiotic didn't help because you've had an upper respiratory viral illness(common cold),perhaps several colds in a row.
