Underlying stress: The triggers for an acne flare up include sun, lack of sleep, stress (emotional and physiological), hormones, and bacteria. You may be having one of these issues which set it off when you had to get the shot. If you are just having red bumps which are not pimples you may be having hives due to an allergic reaction.
