I had a bad bruise on my arm about 6 months ago with a lump in it as well,the bruise lasted almost 6 weeks being so dark.it still hurts is that normal?

Not normal maybe OK: usual healing time for age 28 is about 6 weeks, but if there was a bone bruise might take longer. I'd suggest you consult your Primary Care Practitioner, but as long as your use of the arm is normal, its probably just slow healing.
