It depends mostly: ...on how long you've been bleeding & how heavy the bleeding is. If you period lasts more than a week or so OR if you've been bleeding heavily for 5 days or more, you should contact your doctor. If not, then resume your pills at the usual time and stick carefully to the instructions on your pill pack. Hope this helps. Dr. Anne
