Wrong question: Presence of a white scab is not a sign of malignancy. Much more information is required for a determination. If you are concerned, the best course is an exam, preferably by a skin specialist. How old are you? Pale skin? Family history of skin cancer? History of radiation or sun burns? On immune-modulating meds? Location, size, and color of the "mole"? It may be a keratosis.
