If continues see MD.: Sometimes you can have residual inflammation for a short period after an infection heals. However certainly if it continues you should see your physician for an evaluation to be sure nothing else is going on. Also, were you taking aspirin or other anti-inflammatory agents for the virus, which may have upset your stomach.
