When in doubt: just check pregnancy test in 2 weeks and repeat if negative in 1 week. If you had unprotected intercourse near your last ovulation date then you were in the danger zone. Other things could cause irregular (earlier) periods such as changes in weather, nutrition, exercise, mental state, medications or illnesses etc. I would not worry too much about pregnancy if you are bleeding much.
