I sleep on my arm crossed under my chest and i'm noticing pain in tendon in the morning for a couple of min. should i worry about permanent damage?

Monitor/seek help: I would monitor this -- keep a diary for 1 week. You do not know how many hours you may be straining this area and you should be concerned. Obviously, try to sleep in another position to totally eliminate this problem. If it persists, see sports medicine MD or Orthopaedics MD. Good Luck.
