Attentive breathing: Acute , intense anxiety may not be diminished by meds. Focused breathing that moves the diaphragm may provide a sense of calming especially when accompanied by acceptance of the feelings as temporary. Trying to seek immediate relief while tempting is elusive developing the awareness that these symptoms subside after peaking offers more long term relief.
