A number of: reasons for inter-menstrual cramping exist from a failed pregnancy ( would not be a bad idea to obtain a Pregnancy test) to pelvic infection! Unless this passes in a few days or your expected period comes without event, I would check in with your GYN (a phone contact to begin with) Hope this helps! Dr Z
