Wrongheaded idea: It isn't the size of the baby's head that matters in labor induction, but the quality and presence of strong rhythmic uterine contractions that will advance the baby through your pelvis. You DO have a healthy baby at home, right? At THAT is what matters most.

DiscussWithYourDoc: That's a very complicated issue.Much too complicated to address here.But first,let's be grateful you have a brand spanking new baby & that you are all right.Decisions on whether or not to do a C-section may have to be made at the last minute if everything isn't going according to plan.If not that,then other factors may compel the doctor to do one,but when there is time,they should discuss with you
