I have itp. recently started taking epo to help balance my hormones as well, but noticed bruises and petechiae. is it in any way related to the epo?

Need to know blood c: Send us your blood counts. Then we can guide you better. EPO is not a commonly used medicine for ITP. Bruises and petechiae are more likely due to very low platelet counts. ..so check and tell us the current platelet count. if it is below 30,000, you will need treatment with steroids. if your doctor has not offered you steroids, get a second opinion with a Hematologist.

Unlikely: Did a doctor prescribe EPO? EPO is not a treatment for ITP. Taking unnecessary medications is not good. Please consult a hematologists for treatment of your ITP.
