Echo...: Echocardiogram annually... When > 5 cm or aortic valve regurgitation is severe, then a bentall procedure is the classic repair. Speak with a cardiologist regarding this issue, not a primary care md or np.

Depends: Size symptoms duration small dilation- ectasia can be checked by ct and never need intervention. Large > 5.5 cm or clearly shown to be enlarging, in a suitable surgical candidate will be repaired/ replaced. Successful techniques and grafts are available.
