Hello, i am a 22 year old female and i have been suffering from sever chest pain which has gone into my armpit and left arm? any ideas of what it is??

Why take a chance?: Young adult people can have unusual congenital or genetic risks for heart attacks. Severe acute chest pain into left arm in a any adult is concerning enough to go to Urgent Care or ER ASAP. An EKG and a blood test seem like a small price to pay.

Mgt: In your age group it is more likely to be musculoskeletal skeletal pain, but your are describing severe pain, and a cardiac and pulmonary work up is indicated.
