Yes: With a fever, cough and pain on swallowing i would recommend you to see your physician. Depending on her physical exam it sounds that she may need a rapid strep/strep culture sent. If this is positive she will need antibiotics. This is the correct time of year for Strep infections, especially in school aged children.
