Took depo shot on sept.24 was due on the 11th of dec. never got it. it is now dec. 27 how long will it take for shot to wear off? ( this is my first)

14 weeks from last: Depo Provera (medroxyprogesterone) is "guaranteed" to work up to 14 weeks from your last injection. After that it is possible to get pregnant. However, It takes up to 8 months for all of the medication to get out of your system. It can cause trouble with your periods during this time. Best wishes!

Pretty soon: You are only a few days off from the manufacturer's recommended 3 months interval between Depot shots. You should be OK if you get one early this coming week.
