Most likely normal: Mastoid bone is not like other bones, that have regular fixed structure. This 'bone' mostly consists of air sacs, which get air sucked into these from ear, nose and throat region. As you can imagine, the amount of air and fluid, entering these air sacs may vary, based on your medical condition. It is therefore, not surprising that one side of Mastoid may be different than the other.
