Dermatomes: It sounds like you have pain along the T1/T2 dermatome which may come from a pinched nerve in your spine. You need an orthopaedic spine consult. When you describe pain to a doctor, be able to discuss the onset, location, duration, radiation, and any alleviating or aggravating factors. Also, tell them if you have tried anything for pain and if that helps. Good luck to you.
