Yes: Yes definitely. A contact lens acts in a way like a bandage and often feels more comfortable while on. Then when the lens is removed the eye is often more uncomfortable since the corneal surface is exposed. In this way a CL is a double edged sword as it may mask pain signifying damage to the cornea. Be sure to have eye care professional supervise your CL use.
