Best Practice...: May be best not to have a beer though we all recognize that is unrealistic for some people. However, studies have shown that people with moderate to severe depression and/or anxiety can be even more treatment resistant with just one drink (alcohol is a CNS depressant with increased anxiety as it's metabolized). That being said, one beer (12oz @ 5%) may be ok with these meds but not recommended.
